Hi! I’m glad you stopped by!

If you want to know a little bit more about the “Kristi” behind Sincerely, Kristi, you’re in the right place!

I am a married, 40-something mom in the throes of raising two teenagers: a daughter, who is in college and a son, who is in high school. That alone keeps me pretty busy, but I also have a full-time job and am active in my faith, attending church and my women’s small group weekly (well, most weeks!) When my daughter was in high school, you could find me at cross country and track meets and now that my son is in high school, I can be found at most of his lacrosse games cheering on him and his team.

Aside from spending much of my time with my family, my day job and friends, I really enjoy the outdoors. I grew up camping and played with my friends outside every chance I got. I guess it should be no surprise that I still love being in nature. I have enjoyed camping with my own family, but do more neighborhood and trail walking along with kayaking on a nearby lake when the weather is nice in this season of life.

I love learning new things and sharing what I learn with others. This is one of my biggest passions in life, especially when it comes to faith and social/emotional wellbeing and personal development. Having a background in Psychology (Bachelor’s of Arts) and Education (Level II Certified Teacher) in addition to my insatiable innate desire to learn new things and grow personally, I am always listening to a podcast or book or attending a conference or doing a study with my women’s group. And then I just can’t wait to connect with others and share what I’ve learned! (Usually one-on-one or with a small group of friends)

The LoyalistMy faith is a huge part of what keeps the wheels on this wagon as I navigate the seasons of life through marriage, mothering, friendship and all of the other things.

My purpose for Sincerely, Kristi is to give me a space where I can:

  • acknowledge and encourage others in their efforts and struggles
  • help people feel seen
  • let them know they are not alone
  • point them towards the hope of Jesus

If this sounds like what you are looking for, I hope you’ll come along and that you find and share something encouraging along the way!
